Stay On Trend With Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks

From Orange Shot to Berry Boost, Maybelline has nailed 2017’s hottest spring/summer lip trend with its new range of vivid matte Liquid lipsticks.

Celebrities such as Kerry Washington and Jennifer Lopez rocking this year’s “it” color Rorange, it’s no surprise that Maybelline’s new vivid matte lipstick range includes Orange Shot which is a beautiful mix of scarlet red and striking mandarin. This ultra-flattering shade brightens every complexion due to its warmer undertone. Matte lipsticks are here to stay, but liquid lipsticks that dry your pout are quickly losing their audience. Maybelline’s Vivid Matte Liquid formula delivers a shine-free finish with loads of pigment without the cracking and drying effect that leaves us wanting to wipe the lipstick off and apply all the lip balm. Here I am wearing orange shot in #30.

But it isn’t just the formula that’s made us stand in formation and take notice of these newbies it’s the incredible range of colors. No outrageous sickly Barbie pink in this collection offering a variety of colors from nudes, pinks, and reds. NYC Makeup artist Edward Cruz suggests skipping a super glossy finish and opting for a matte or balm-like texture. “ For a statement lip apply the color full on- or try the new ombre effect by mixing two of your favorite colors.

Berry lips look great on every skin tone and is one of  the sexiest lip trend this spring. If you have thin lips, a dark lipstick could make them appear even smaller. So start with a sheer stain and use a lip pencil to fill out the lip ever so slightly. You can also dab a lighter colored lipstick on the center of your mouth to make lips appear fuller. Maybelline vivid matte lipstick in Berry Boost #40 is the perfect spring shade to match your floral dresses and wedding guest events.

Subtle lips don’t cut it this season, drench your lips in bold color with Maybelline’s Color Sensational Vivid Matte Lip Color. Pure pigments with a creamy liquid base for a velvety-soft cushiony feel. The result? You don’t want to blend in, this high impact lip makes you stand out.

I love a good matte lip colour, but I’ve only done the lip liner thing. I’ve never tried a matte lipstick!

I love both of the colors on you! I need to see if I can find this at one of my local stores because the matte lipstick I’m currently using gets onto EVERYTHING! It’s so frustrating. It’s a local brand and I spent $20 on it! It gets on my food when I eat, stains my clothes, and sometimes even my teeth. Hate it! But the Mabelline Vivid Matte looks like a better deal for me.
