Happy New Year loves! It’s been an amazing time sharing inspiration with you all. I pray 2017 brings you all your hearts desires. I Knew this was the dress I wanted to wear as the clock struck Midnight for New Years. I love the Satin Slip Dress from HM and paired it with Tux blazer also from HM for the chilly weather here in North Carolina. 2016 has been a year of learning and growth. I’m grateful for all the projects and brands I worked and collaborated on. My new year’s resolution is to be better than I was last year in every aspect such as fitness, work, play and relationships. I’m looking forward to sharing even more inspirational and substantial posts with you. Thank you for rocking with me. Let’s make 2017 great!
With Love Always! xoxo

Hey Loves! I finally crossed off one of my biggest goals this year attending New York Fashion Week thanks to Style Collective. It was a thrilling experience! If you are a style/fashion blogger you want to attend NYFW at least once in your blogging career. I am going to be sharing my experiences and tips below on how to attend NYFW like a boss 😀
1. Join a supportive community like Style Collective where you can attend NYFW with other fashion bloggers. Style Collective makes attending NYFW less stressful by providing access to several fashion shows and blogger events in New York, hotels and a fun brunch during New York Fashion Week. You are also surrounded by supportive bloggers who help attending shows less stressful. If interested in joining a supportive blogging community, I highly recommend Style Collective! You can join by clicking Here . We had a style collective brunch at Pennsylvania 6 NYC where we I got to meet all my style collective sisters. It was a really fun and great with lots food, drinks and Instagram worthy photos.
2. Although, I didn’t attend as many shows as I wanted, I was in New York for two days, so I was able to attend two shows Verdad and Custo Barcelona. It was a surreal experience seeing the shows live. You know you watch movies and one day dream about attending one these and just like that it comes to live. I actually made a video last year with my brother and one of my dreams was to attend NYFW with my brother and that was a possible this year. Also Planning, budgeting and writing your goals down really helps to achieve them. You can view Verdad’s Collection Here.
3. Attend a blogger event! I was able to attend ShopStyle Collective Social House. I got to New York late due to Inclement weather and only got to the end of the event. They had different brands available, food, champagne for bloggers, gifts, makeup and hair at the event, you could also borrow clothing to attend any of your NYFW Shows.
4. Anyone can attend NYFW but you have to network into getting to shows. Work hard, build your social followings and blog. Get some rest in between shows! Plan ahead what shows you would like to attend. I sent lots of emails to different designers. Find their PR contact and email them a few weeks before the show. Luckily with a supportive community like Style Collective, I had better access to attending just by stating I was a member.
Overall! It was an amazing experience. Thanks to ShopStyle Collective for providing the Milly over the shoulder Top at the Shopstyle social house event. I got so many compliments from where this top. I paired with a pleated skirt from H&M. You can shop my NYFW looks below. I hope you all are having a lovely weekend. Leave comment below if you are planning to attend NYFW at some point.

Happy Monday loves, currently blogging from my hotel as I attended Fashion Week this weekend in New York. I got see Verdad’s 2017 Fall/Winter collection. VERDAD, a new womenswear brand helmed by veteran LA designer Louis Verdad, debuted its Fall/Winter 2017 collection at New York Fashion Week on Sunday February 12th at Pier 59 Studios in Chelsea. Fall/Winter 2017 marks the second season and the very first runway presentation in New York for the LA based label.

For its newest collection, VERDAD took its mood inspiration from Fall on the streets of LA – with tops, separates and dresses in a range of dark colors, floral and watercolor inspired prints mixed with crisp cream looks and shimmering paillettes for evening. Long knits, sheer blouses and voluminous sweaters made playful statements of volume through artful layering. Classic VERDAD design signatures include a bomber jacket and midi length, knife pleated skirts.
Models on the runway wore sleek ponytails and directional makeup – a look VERDAD created in collaboration with AVEDA for hair and makeup. Accessories provided a strong counterpoint to the runway looks. Shoes were provided by Perla Formentini with some new styles created by the Italian shoe brand in collaboration for VERDAD FW17. Lillian Shalom provided jewelry, Gaspar Gloves outfitted models with gloves, sunglasses were provided by ic! berlin and HUE provided tights and socks for the runway looks. Guests and models enjoyed sipping on Hint Water and Arizona Tea while enjoying the presentation.
The founder and creative director, Louis Verdad, whose luminous career spans 15+ years dressing the likes of Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Christina Aguilera and more under his namesake label, had his sights set on a runway presentation in New York since launching VERDAD last year. “I see the VERDAD woman as someone who travels effortlessly from LA to New York on a regular basis so it made sense for me to show my collection during New York Fashion Week,” explains the designer. “I am inspired by the women who wear my clothes in both these cities- LA for the lifestyle and attitude and New York for the precision and the playfulness.”
VERDAD is the newest brand by acclaimed fashion designer Louis Verdad. Youthful tailoring meets urban sophistication in a cool and chic collection born and produced in Los Angeles, California. Quality, comfort and modern panache position VERDAD as a truly directional brand. www.verdadofficial.com

Yellow is a color of happiness. Is it just me or is anyone else ready for spring? Yellow is creative, the color of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things. I couldn’t resist how fun the yellow Crepe Swing dress from Old Navy fits loosely around your body. It makes you want to dance. It’s the perfect A-line dress for a fun night out or date with your lover. I paired it with black tights from H&M and heels from River Island. It’s still a bit cold here in NC, so I brought my denim jacket along with me. What color reminds you of spring? drop a comment below

Valentine’s Day is a few weeks away… not really into the whole commercialized idea of valentine’s day. Everyday showed be a day of love and appreciation with the people you care about the most. It’s amazing how a color like red can make a woman feel so sexy. This dress is backless and sent from heaven. The stretchy material gives the relaxation that you need in a dress and the thickness allows the dress not to continually rise. These two things are super important to me because I am always looking for comfortability, even when I’m dressed up. My favorite skin care tonic right now is Pixi glam glow by Petra. I have been hearing so many great reviews about it, I had to get one for myself. I have been using it for two weeks now and its amazing. Let me know what you think?
With Love Always,
