Fashion’s having an embroidery moment right now! It has been featured on high fashion runways this season with designers such as Gucci, Valentino and so on. Adding Embroidery to your denim began a few years ago, but it’s just hitting bigger now. Most probably with the return of all things ’70s, which is always super fun. I had so much fun making this! it brought back all my sewing skills. It was kinda therapeutic too. If you’ll like to find out how to make your own embroidered denim, then keep scrolling.

1. Create a text with preferable font. I used Brush Script MT font in size 96 and Print it out

2. Cut out the font with Scissors and smooth it around with an x-factor Knife and place it on your denim jacket

3. Trace around the font with a marker and begin sewing.

4. Continue sewing by following the lines of the letter, until you are done.

I can’t wait to see your designs! Let me know what you think about the embroidered trend? Yay or Nay?

So it’s no secret, I love to DiYs. I’m sure we all have a desk workstation. When I was young, it was my place to do homework. I would come home from school every day and sit there until I was finished with my work so I could go play.

Now, as a stylish young adult :D, I have always wanted one of those sleek minimalistic all-white desk or workstation I see on interior magazines and Instagram without having to break the bank. I had done some research online, and narrowed it down to the Linnmon Desk from Ikea!  I went to the store to check it out. It’s the perfect size for my studio apartment and of course, it is white!  It’s a great foundation for flat lay photography if you like a clean Instagram white look. Without further talking, let’s get started.

  1. Linnmon Desk from Ikea– Here is a picture of the desk and parts I picked up from Ikea, It was only $24.99 by the way 🙂

2. Instruction Manual – It was pretty easy to construct! All you need is a screwdriver and will power 🙂

3.Final Result–  Here is what it looks like after screwing all the legs!

So if you’re looking to update your home or dorm workspace, hopefully, this post helps to give you insight on a few products, and tips and tricks to make it your own. And if you like mine enough to want to copy it (I’m flattered), here’s a recap of you’ll need to get:

DiY – Marble Print Laptop Cover

Hey guys! I often get tired of seeing the same things over again as some of you can also relate too. I got tired of my Macbook Air Laptop Cover, it just kinda seems boring and plain now even though I loved the color back when I got it. I noticed a lot of fashionistas on Instagram with the Marble Print Laptop Cover and I absolutely love it. I decided to give it a try!  So, I got a Marble Print Adhesive Contact Paper from Amazon. You can get on from Walmart or Hobby lobby. It’s so chic and minimal. Nowadays, I’m drawn towards whites and greys. There are also different colors of marble print contact paper like Black or Brown. Here below is a DiY Marble print Macbook Skin/Decal. I am so in love with my laptop now! I actually want to get more work done lol!  I also got lots of compliments on it from my college friends. Here’s how you can do it too! Enjoy this visual and video on how I made it. Xo

Let’s Get Started!

 You will Need This Materials

1. Marble Print Adhesive Contact Paper

2. Scissors

3. Ruler

Cut this to around the same size as your Mac. I’ve used a utility knife to draw it up, then cut out. Remove the foil and add it slowly and carefully on the Mac (please be careful about air bubbles) Once you’ve got the foil on, remove it with the utility knife. Important, knife has to be sharp.

The Apple logo will show through the foil, but if you want, you can lift up the screen so the light will come through, then cut it out with the utility knife (but be careful, do not use excessive force, as you may damage the original logo).

Lots of Love
